YOU: proceed in your normal routine of life just like there is no one there with a camera

ME: artfully and beautifully photographs said normal routine life

That's it...

Seriously

This is how a real life photography session goes:

"A real life driven photograph is like a good song; It tells a story that can be as deep as the ocean or as shallow as a stream"

- a quote by me

Not just celebrate it but show it off and share it with others. Help those around you to realize they are not alone in their chaos. Then keep those memories around to show your grown children that we were real parents, real people, and they were loved just the same.

That chaos is the supporting character of your life story

IT’S THE DONKEY TO YOUR SHREK

Real life documentary images of our life remind us that life is good. I forget that fact when I am cleaning up those toys for the 10th time that day (or yelling at my kids to clean them up). These images show off all the moments, not just the cuddly ones.

SO WHY do you WANT THIS CHAOS PHOTOGRAPHED?

BUT OUR LIFE IS A MESS
WHY PHOTOGRAPH THE MESS

Celebrate the craziness.

Life is good.

Laundry, dishes, dinner that no one will eat anyway, school work, personal work, “self-care” (whatever that is), floors, errands. The list goes on and on. In the midst of this chaos we forget that this is just a normal phase of our life.
We forget in all this day to day slog that we do love our kids, we do love our spouse, and we do love ourselves.

We are so busy just trying to survive.

Some days the stars align and our children look up at us with loving eyes while they clean their room. Who am I kidding? This never happens. Heck with my kids I can’t even get them to clean their room let alone be happy about it.

Life is full of chaos.
